A month of MSCs

Strangely the month of March was an interesting one, as it was a month of MSCs for me. DCM the company I co-founded finally got awarded its MSC-status and finally I received news on my Masters, got my results for my MSc in Technology Management. You could say good news do come in a package.

On a separate to topic, on the 7th April, the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) celebrated its 10th Anniversary. It unveiled its new logo and renamed MDC to MDEC.

Since starting out DCM in 2001, reaching and obtaining MSC-status was one of its goals. And after a 12-month program, we finally achieved our MSC-status. That is only the beginning as a lot more work needs to be put in to deliver against our business goals.

As for my own personal goals, after leaving Leo Burnett and deciding to pursue my studies – I never envisage starting out my own business. But that journey has been long and a challenging one. Juggling the business and also the studies. There were many times when I considered not completing it. It was mentally and physically challenging – but the satisfaction of obtaining it is well worth the effort. What a relieve to have finally complete what I set out to do.

One may ask what is next? Where do you go from here? The opportunities are limitless.
