How did I end up agreeing to shaving bald for charity, I really do not know. Anyway here’s how it all started with a little note from my beloved cousin… who got the ball rolling…

Let’s make Gary Tay Bald

Dear friends,
Nothing is more crushing than learning you have a terminal disease, that death has been dispatched and there is nothing you can do to stop it. This is what Hospis Malaysia does: they help people who have been dealt with this cruel blow to cope with their final days.

There is a campaign close to my heart that I’m supporting. It is called Bald4Good. How it works is that you can nominate someone to go bald for a price, and should the person accept, people can pledge money to make sure the deed is carried out. The proceeds go to Hospis Malaysia.

The person I would like to nominate today is Gary Tay. I think RM1000 is a fair price for his hair. Gary, should you choose to accept the challenge, please let us know.
