You’ve heard of client’s shaving off their budgets, but mine when for my hair!
In an attempt to educated the man on the street about the values of giving and contributing to charity, The Truly Loving Company has been running “Promise Me” campaign, getting evangelist to promote “giving”. That’s where the Bald4Good campaign was conceived. People pledged money for their friends and family members to get bald for charity.
A special thanks to my cousin, Jeremy who ran the Bald4Good campaign along with Vinod Nair – who roped me in as the ‘donor’ aka victim. And especially my Uncle Tony who helped raised over RM9,000 of the pledges. They were both awesome!!!
While I truly support the effort, in my case I became part of the campaign too. But nothing like losing your hair for a worthy cause. Thanks to all those who supported the campaign, and those who contributed so generously to the effort. A memorable hair raising experience!
